Michael R Hamblin Ph.D (CSO) is a Principal Investigator at the Wellman Center for Photomedicine, Massachusetts General Hospital, an Associate Professor of Dermatology, Harvard Medical School and affiliated faculty at Harvard-MIT Division of Health Science and Technology. He directs a laboratory of around a dozen scientists who work in photodynamic therapy and photobiomodulation. He has published 366 peer-reviewed articles, is Editor or Associate Editor for 10 journals and serves on NIH Study-Sections. He has an h-factor of 79 and 22,964 citations. He has authored/edited 11 proceedings volumes together with ten other major textbooks on PDT and photomedicine.

Dr Hamblin was honored by election as a Fellow of SPIE in 2011, and received the 1st Endre Mester Lifetime Achievement Award in Photomedicine from NAALT in 2017.

Dr. Jessica Rychel is a veterinarian with board certification in sports medicine and rehabilitation. Her passion lies in individualized patient care, working to maximize the quality of life, mobility, and comfort for the patients she treats. With a special love for geriatric patients, as well as the canine athlete, Jessica brings her unique perspective to every case she treats. Being part of a small, intimate practice allows Jessica to focus on the aspects of veterinary rehabilitation that are so important to her.

Christine Cranston MPT, CCRP Chris Cranston, MPT, CCRP is one of the most respected certified animal physical therapists in New England. She started the animal rehabilitation practice at Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in 2006 after years of owning a mobile practice and consulting. Chris founded a successful free-standing clinic, FlowDog in 2009 which she sold to MSPCA-Angell in 2017. Sleepy Dog is thrilled to have Chris on a part-time basis. So many of our clients can benefit from her years of creative problem solving and expertise.

Dr. Douglas Strammel

Douglas Stramel received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University in 1991. In 1994, he was accepted as an intern at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center (DVSC), where he gained extensive knowledge in advanced surgical techniques. He is the first and only Certified Veterinary Pain Practitioner in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

He is currently the President of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM) which is dedicated to publishing pain management

Eytan Malits (CTO) has led R&D for multiple medical device companies over the past 30 years and most recently served as a senior advisor to the Chief Scientist of Israel before joining MedcoVet.  Eytan is responsible for current and future versions of MedcoVet’s products.

Eytan holds a Masters in Engineering from the Technion in Israel and an MBA from Stanford University.
