What does the warranty cover?

MedcoVet offers a comprehensive 2-year warranty from the day you receive your first Luma device. The warranty covers normal wear and tear, device support from MedcoVet, and treatment guidance from your veterinarian. If you encounter any issues within this period, we’ll replace your device at no additional cost, ensuring uninterrupted treatment for your pet.

What is not covered under the warranty?

The warranty does not cover damage due to dropping the device, damage from animals (such as bite marks), or using the wrong charger.

When does the warranty period start?

The warranty starts the day you receive your first Luma device, regardless of whether you begin as a rental or purchase customer. If you switch from rental to purchase or reach the purchase price through renting, the warranty start date remains unchanged.

Can I switch Plans?

You cannot switch from the Sale Plan to the Rental Plan.

You can switch from the Rental Plan to the Sale Plan anytime. If switching within two months, we will send you a brand new Luma*. If you switch after 2 months, you will continue using your current pre-owned device and will not receive a new one.

*Please note that due to inventory, we occasionally send people on the rental plan a new Luma if no used ones are available. If this is the case, we will not ship another new device.

What happens when my rental payments reach $1,500?

Once your rental payments total $1,500, you automatically own your current pre-owned Luma device. No additional payments will be made.
