When I discussed natural ways that I could help Lucy’s arthritis with my holistic vet, she recommended red light therapy. She recommended the Luma device because it would allow me to do the treatments at home. It was easy to set up and use. I saw some subtle changes after the first week of daily treatments. After week six, the changes in her fluidity and quality of movements were so apparent that neighbors commented on her gait. I saw my girl going from hesitant to take stairs and always leading with the right hind leg to happily sprinting them up, taking reciprocal steps. And what’s amazing: She LOVES the treatments!!!! We do them when she’s relaxed on the couch and she totally participates in the treatment, lifting legs, rolling over, stretching and all while having a big smile on her face.
