Marilyn J. Jerome, M.S., LVT, is a licensed veterinary technician with over 25 years of clinical experience in Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology, her career began with a decade of active clinical work in emergency and intensive nursing care.
While at BluePearl Pet Hospital, she also spent many years partnering with veterinarians of Internal Medicine, Oncology, Neurology, Dermatology and Critical Care to deliver specialty care. Highlights of her career include her key role in running mobile spay/neuter clinics within the five boroughs in NYC, intensive high-level monitoring of ventilated patients, and the intake and medical operations of a rescue organization.
In addition to her clinical experience, she also obtained a Masters of Science degree in Health Informatics from National University. These technical and operational graduate studies were then applied during her tenure as Medical and Practice Manager at veterinary and dental organizations, respectively.
Marilyn is passionate about creative thinking to deliver successful clinical care and operational harmony. She is passionate about utilizing her years of clinical experience to aid in positive therapeutic outcomes.
